Children in Need 2013

At Broadford we love to support worthy charities, and this Friday sees one of the UK's most high-profile charities take centre stage: Children in Need. 

At Broadford we will be marking the event in three ways. 

Our Year 5 children will be holding a cake sale in the hall on Friday break time. Their delicious delights will start at 30p. Last year their Red Nose Day cake sale went down a treat and sold out quickly, so make sure you are there!

Secondly, the Year 5 children will be coming round to classes every day to sell a selection of Children in Need memorabilia. There are Pudsey keyrings (£2), Pudsey badges (30p), and official CIN luminous wrist bands (£1) available, so please contribute if you can! 

Finally, to mark the occasion next Friday 15th November, we are asking that children wear their silliest socks to school for a suggested donation of 50p. It's a small way to make a big difference to a very worthy charity, with every penny going to help children all around the UK.
