Writing Challenge Winner Week 10

Last week, our Year 5 and 6 children were challenged to write a letter to our local mayor, inviting her to our Winter Performance in December. 

We had lots of avid writers accept the challenge this week, but sadly there can only be one winner. 

Congratulations to Dylan Houlston, who used an exceptional range of powerful vocabulary and differing sentence structures in order to persuade the mayor to attend. He also used rhetorical questions! Well done to Dylan, who is the proud winner of a £5 Argos voucher and well done of course to all of last week's entrants. 

This week's challenge will be displayed tomorrow and a winner announced next Monday.
