Year 6 Geography - Rainforests 08.11.21

What an afternoon we had in year 6! The children had to uncover clues to guess what topic we are studying for Geography this half term.

They took part in a bush tucker trial type activity where they could only use their hands to feel for clues. Some shocked faces appeared when they realised they had to dig deep within some yucky substances for some of the clues.

They worked really hard to figure out that it is indeed RAINFORESTS that we will be studying.

"I think we have to be learning about deforestation because I can see that all the trees have been chopped down" Moyin, Almond

"This feels like it has a shell, maybe a turtle?" Fola, Lime

"I can feel that it only has six legs so it can't be a spider" Malachi, Lime

"This is so fun!" Monsur, Oak
