They first worked together to create their very own castles - fit for the kings and queens that they are! Then, they enjoyed a scavenger hunt together and like any proper celebration, the morning finished with lots of cake and juice!
We were so immensely proud of how nurturing and caring our Year 6 pupils were towards the nursery children. They showed buckets of patience and resilience and all acted as outstanding role models.
"It was so much fun helping the younger children!" Callie, Almond
"It was definitely quite tricky - the children kept running away from us, but I really enjoyed it." Andrew, Oak
Well done, Year 6; you have demonstrated how responsible and mature you all are. We will definitely provide the children with more opportunities to spend time with the younger ones before their time at Broadford comes to an end. They absolutely love it!
