School Council City Hall Trip

 School Council City Hall Trip

Today the 2021/2022 School Council went on a trip to the new City Hall in London to celebrate the wonderful work they have done this year representing their classes!

We were the third group of school children to ever enter the new building in Custom House and learnt about all of the fascinating work people there are doing there to try and make London a better place for us all! We reflected on important historical events, both good and bad, that have impacted the city and discussed potential changes that could happen in the future.

After our talk and tour of City Hall, we were lucky enough to be able to ride the cable cars! Some children showed their resilience as they braved their fears of heights.

'I've learnt about the Brunel family building the first tunnel!' Aayan

'I can't believe the City Hall has only been around since 2002!' Madeea
