Lyrical Masters 2023
Ambitious Aims
Every 2 weeks the children will be introduced to a different genre of music. They will begin by sourcing a backing track that they enjoy then work in a group to create their own lyrics which will be based on the given theme. Here, the children will develop their creative skills and build a performance.

Week 1: Introduction to the course & music selection
Week 2: Group work - introduction to genre and theme 1 - Friendship
Week 3: Group work - writing lyrics and performance
Week 4: Paired work - introduction to genre and theme 1 - Love
Week 5: Paired work - writing lyrics and performance
Week 6: Solo work - introduction to genre and theme 1 - Family
Week 7: Solo work - writing lyrics and performance
Week 8: Deciding on their final performance, is it a group, paired or solo?
Week 9: Group work - Rehearsal and finishing touches
Week 10: Group work - evaluation and feedback from the graduating class
Fantastic Finale
For the Fantastic Finale the students will graduate as Lyrical Masters by performing their own incredible songs.
