OPAL- Outdoor Play and Learning
Welcome Back
It has been lovely to welcome the children back after the summer holidays. They seem to have come back with renewed energy and have made the most of their break and lunchtimes so far.
The children have had an assembly reminding them of the OPAL rules and zones. It didn't take them long to find the equipment and get going.
They have been shown some amazing new resources made over the holidays from simple wooden pallets.
They have even remembered how to be Dynamic Risk Assessors and check all the equipment before using it.
Any broken resources need to be reported to an adult straight away.
The children were also pleased to find out that football in specific areas is now encouraged. They are all aware of the rules and have done really well at following these.
