Mud /Sand Kitchens
Sadly we seem to have lost our summer sun but this has not damped the spirits of the children.
As resourceful as ever, the children have been finding new games and activities to entertain themselves at lunch time.
The children have been using the mud kitchen equipment to create a sand kitchen. They have really enjoyed their time and created some wonderful pieces.
However, this isn’t the only use they have found for sand.
Fantastic reciprocity and amazing imagination was seen during these games.
As always we would appreciate any more resources you could add to our collection. So, do think of us if you are having a clear out. The items we are looking for will enable us to enjoy a wider range of play experiences during playtime (see below for some examples):
- Bread crates
- Cable drums
- Metal/plastic pots and pans
- Range of plastic utensils.
- Guttering
- Dressing up clothes
- Blankets (to add to our den building)
- Small World toys (Dinosaurs, cars etc..)
- Scooters
- Deck chairs/ camping chairs (all sizes)
- Outdoor cushions
