What an exciting week we have had in Geography!
Year 6 explored tools that they could use to help navigate new places. Our military team ( the year 6 children) had to consider how specfic equipment could help them to travel to an uncharted part of an island on their next campaign.
Lauren in Larch questioned," How did anyone know where they were going without Google Maps!"
Charlie in Birch class said, "They used the string to map out their journey." 
Others questioned the use of a chronometer and sundial to help with their explorartion.
