Planet Exploration in Year 5

 In Year 5 we had a fantastic afternoon using fruit and other objects to explore the planets in order from the Sun!

At first we looked at different fruit representations of the planets and decided which could represent each planet.

Then the children were tasked with finding objects around the classroom to create a diagram of the planets in order from the Sun.

We had lots of different representations, some children even included themselves in the representations!

Can your child remember the planets in order from the sun? Some have come up with a mnemonic to remember them!
