Air Pollution Theatre Show
This week Year 5 were fortunate enough to have a theatre group come into school. The theatre group discussed the pressing matter of air pollution and its contributors. Most importantly what small changes individually we can bring in to make a difference. We demonstrated our Reciprocity value by sharing ideas and knowledge. We also displayed our value of Reflection when we thought about our own impact on the planet.
There were activities to take part in and comedy throughout the show.
Some of the small acts we can do as individuals to help keep our air clean:
- We can wear a jumper before putting the heating on.
- We can walk or cycle with friends instead of getting lifts for small journeys.
- We can switch off lights when we are not in the room.
- We can also politely ask our parents to switch off car engines when the car is idle or waiting.
The biggest take away being that if we each do something small then all of those 90 small actions become much bigger in unison.
