OPAL - Outdoor Play and Learning
Obstacle Course
We are so lucky at Broadford, surrounding our school field we have an amazing obstacle course. Each and every section challenges us to use different muscles and parts of our body to complete it.
To cross the rope bridge we need to have balance and the strength to hold on.
To complete this section we need upper body strength and a whole lot of confidence.
The monkey bars are an old favourite. Some of us can complete the whole section. Could you?
This is our favourite place to practise our forward rolls. We have to be brave to try this on the highest bar.
Climbing requires great care and planning. If you don't go carefully you can lose a hand or foot hold and get stuck.
