What an amazing 10 weeks it has been; the Chromebook Crew really did impress Miss Estall with their super whizzy skills!
On Wednesday, the pupils graduated and shared their new learning with parents/carers. At the end of the session they then presented their Google slides which demonstrated their skills.
These skills included, but were not limited to:
- changing font size, colour and alignment
- inserting images, drawings and tables
- inserting videos and hyperlinks
- applying transitions and animations
- changing themes and backgrounds (including importing new themes from the internet!)
- creating formulas and transferring collected data into graphs and charts
- cropping images, adapting outlines and effects
It was brilliant to watch the pupils work so collaboratively which is a huge benefit of the Google apps. Each week they kindly supported each other and taught one another any new skills which really was such a joy to see.
Well done everybody - it is safe to say you can all add 'proficient in various Google apps' to your CV!
Here are some examples of pupil work created in Google sheets. Pupils carried out an investigation to collect data then used the data to create graphs and charts.
