WW2 Webinar in Year 5
Yesterday, Year 5 were lucky enough to take part in a national webinar over Zoom all about World War 2. We met author Tom Palmer who has just published his book ' After the War' about Jewish children who were evacuated to the Lake District from other countries in Europe.
In addition to this, we met Mala Tribich who survived the holocaust. She told us how her happy life in Poland was turned upside down in 1939 when WW2 broke out and how lucky she was to have survived.
