Year 6's Spectacular Science Museum Visit!

Year 6 had such a wonderful time at the Science Museum yesterday. To help with their learning about the human body, they enjoyed exploring "The Medicine Gallery" which showcased extraordinary medical artefacts demonstrating the relationship with medicine and health through more than 500 years of history.

They were able to complete the 'Marvels of Medicine Activity Trail' to support their exploration of the museum. Well done to all of the children who were able to complete every activity!

"The fake merman really creeped me out!" Alfie, Almond.

"We saw a model of the heart, which is what we have been learning about in school. I was able to identify the left and right atriums and ventricles." Moyin, Almond

"It was really interesting learning about the tattooed man. He had all of his insides tattooed on the outside of his body!" George, Almond

We had such a fun day and it was brilliant to see so many children engaged in their exploration of the scientific world.

Thank you so much again to all of our parent volunteers who were able to attend. These trips are unable to happen without your support.

Excellent work, Year 6!
