Science Week in Year 5
For Science Week, Year 5 have been having lots of fun doing a variety of activities!
Firstly, we planned (and some of us attempted to carry out) an experiment about how long it would take to jump a kilometer or mile!
Secondly, we looked at some optical illusions and the science behind them. We even tried to make our own!
We were lucky enough to go and do some measuring with Year 1 for an experiment looking into how quickly different parts of our bodies grow. Once we'd taken the measurements, we made bar charts using chalk on the playground!
