Molly's Homemade Alien

At Broadford we love when children independently extend their learning at home, and that is exactly what Maple's Molly Wheal did. Regular readers of the Year 5/6 blog will remember that yesterday's maths lesson involved the children making 3D shape aliens from a selection of nets (Year 5's Close Encounter of the 3D Shape kind). Molly took this learning home and made her own alien -named Hannah- using a net of a triangular prism. "I designed and measured it myself" says Molly. Great job!
